Gene T. Kim
Chief Executive Officer & President

Mr. Kim began his career as a trader of sophisticated financial derivatives for JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch. At 24 he became the youngest Vice President in Merrill Lynch history and was made the Head Trader of the USD Fixed-Income Swap Desk, then the largest derivatives trading desk in the world. After leading the group to a series of #1 rankings by both institutional clients and competing investment banks, Mr. Kim moved to London to manage the DEM bloc Fixed-Income derivatives group for Merrill. At 27 Mr. Kim joined the hedge fund Tiger Management, then the largest in the world, where he was responsible for all trading in Asia. He left Tiger in 1999 to found Bamboo, and has been the driving force and vision behind the company. Mr. Kim has been widely recognized as one of the founding figures in the Chinese Offshore Outsourcing industry and has been interviewed in numerous international television, newspaper, and magazine features. Mr. Kim double majored in Finance and Decision Sciences at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Rajesh Rao
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Rao began his career at Infosys Technologies Limited, where he served in a number of senior management capacities for five years, including leading professional services group of their banking technology division. He has more than 17 years experience in the IT industry, specializes in transforming business using IT, and manages all aspects of the software development lifecycle from conception through deployment and maintenance. He has been widely recognized as an expert in implementing CMM pratices, aligning business requirements with IT, and deploying industry standard frameworks, tools, and methodologies. Prior to joining Bamboo, he was Technology Network Lead at Razorfish, both managing the technology team and focusing on business development activities.

George Chan
Head of Design Business Unit

Mr. Chan has over twenty-one years of experience in the IT field including fifteen years in IT management. Prior to joining Bamboo he was the I.T. Senior Manager of Mead Johnson China, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of all the company's IT-related projects in China. At Mead Johnson, he also developed and managed the I.T department's strategic plan, objectives and annual budget. He has profound and diversified project management experience in multi-national companies. He joined Bamboo in 2000. As a core member of the leadership team, he successfully developed the Guangzhou production center to be the first CMMI Level 5 company in southern China in 2003. After that, he adapted the CMMI model into packaging artwork development. This system maintains the RTFT (Right The First Time) rate in a high level (98% in average). Mr. Chan now leads Bamboo's Guangzhou office, overseeing all areas of operations. Mr. Chan is vice Director-General of Guangdong Software Outsourcing Council.

Peter Williams
Head of US Business Unit & Chief Strategic Officer

Peter Williams, an established name in the asian IT indistry brings over 25 years of industry experience to the Bamboo Management Team. He has extensive experience in establishing successful Consulting, Professional Services and Solution Development businesses within the region. With stints in Datacraft Asia establishing the Solutions Development Group, or with World Bank projects developing legal frameworks he has a wide and varied range of skills and knowledge. You will find him just as much at home coding a content management platform, advising Banking Clients or running a Sales Organisation. In Bamboo, this multidisciplinary capability is one of the hallmarks of our business.

Masato Kitano
Head of Japan Business Unit

Mr. Kitano has nearly twenty years experience in the technology field. He joined NEC Corporation in 1984 and spent seven years as a sales consultant for communications systems in the Tokyo market. While at NEC, he also developed a human resources development system and planned and implemented an employee education program. In 1996, Mr. Kitano established Rich Pictures KK, a NEC intra-venture business and technology consultancy. He managed the firm until its merger with Bamboo in July 2002. Mr. Kitano now leads Bamboo's Japan office, overseeing all solutions development, operations and sales efforts. Mr. Kitano holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Fukui University, Japan.

Carmen Xian
Head of China Business Unit

Ms. Carmen Xian leads a growing team of China Business Unit in Bamboo. Carmen dedicates to bring her experience to lead the team to expand sales and customer coverage through implementing specific strategies. Also Carmen is devoted to build and manage the China Business Unit with good team culture and efficient management system and has achieved several great milestones.

Prior to joining Bamboo, Carmen has more than ten years of extensive experience in IT industry. Carmen has served in IBM and Dell for many years involving in many fields like sales, marketing, channel, alliance, strategic planning etc. Carmen has intensive practical experience in project management, team management and IT service outsourcing business development.

Carmen graduated from Guangdong University of Technology of China. Carmen holds double bachelor's degree of Computer Engineering and Environment Science and Engineering.

Robert L Rossman
Chief Financial Officer

Robert L. Rossman, is the Chief Financial Officer of Bamboo Technologies Limited. Mr. Rossman began his career at The Bank of Nova Scotia (“BNS”) in 1980. During his early years with this firm he held various commercial banking positions and in 1986 moved over to the trading side where he eventually became the senior market maker for Interest Rate Derivatives. In 1990 he joined J. P. Morgan (later J.P. Morgan Securities) as a Derivative and Foreign Exchange trader before moving to the marketing side in 1994 when he was also appointed as a Managing Director. He eventually became head of Interest Rate Derivative Marketing for the Americas and was responsible for delivering risk management solutions to the firm’s Municipal, Sovereign, Corporate and Financial Institution clients. Mr. Rossman left J.P. Morgan in 2001 and went to CSFB where he headed up the North American Interest Rate and Credit Derivative marketing effort. Subsequent to CSFB, Mr. Rossman moved to Mt. Rushmore Securities, LLC where he advised investors on alternative asset investment opportunities. Mr. Rossman received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Western Ontario, London, Canada and a Master of Business Administration degree from York University, Toronto, Canada.
